Schedule 2/14/24: On this day, all the at home filming will take place. This is where the first four scenes will take place. The easy stuff that can be done in one day. 2/17/24 - 2/18/24: On these two days this is where the actual outside will take place. So, we will have to wait for it to become dark because we want that eerie nighttime feeling. The first day is when hopefully all the filming will be done. The scenes will be 5-30. We might be able to finish them all so i gave us an extra day to do the rest. 2/24/24 - 3/2/24: Through these days the plan is to finish all the editing that needs to be done. Gave the most time on this because it is a long video that involves a lot of editing. Location We will be filiming in two main locations, the first one will be my own house and the second one at Veteran's Park. The other sub locations will be sidewalks around the main two locations. Picking up from where I left off, the only thing that was left to insert was the images and video from the concert I went to recently. I inserted a picture of me and my sisters at the barricade, by using the overlay button that is seen at the bottom tools. I also inserted some pictures from the VIP friends of friends lounge. Those were inserted by using the overlay, as well as a video from one of their performances. I arranged the pictures how I liked them. After that I inserted text on the top left corner and changed the font color to a lilac. I made sure to cut down the duration of each picture and video. I also had to extend the text duration a by clicking on the text and dragging the right side of the duration more to the right. I had some time left over from the black screen, so I made sure to give credit to the artist whose song I used. On the same frame as the credits I inserted a text and image to thank the viewers. What conventions of the genre that you chose to base your final task on does this movie have? - Some conventions that the movie had, that we listed for thrillers were the sounds. For example, this movie is big on non-diegetic and diegetic sounds. For diegetic the typing of the computer keys was playing a big part as it seemed that we were watching everything from the computer screen. What conventions of the genre did the movie have that you liked? - I really enjoyed the inserts that they had at the beginning where they had the main character typing on her computer. Also, the sounds that they would play when something was going to happen gave it more of an authentic feeling of what a thriller should be with a modern twist. Especially the non-diegetic sounds. It also lets the audience feel the emotion that the director wants to be put out.
