What conventions of the genre that you chose to base your final task on does this movie have? -       Similar convetions found in the genre of thriller are as follows. Lighting, common amongst most thrillers, there is a lot of dim dark lighting throughout the movie. Both inside and outside. As well as the angles. This movie has a lot of zooms in shots, over the shoulder, and dutch shots. What conventions of the genre did the movie have that you liked? -       Throughout the movie i really enjoyed the dark lighting. It added to the overall unsettling feeling the movie created. The constant Dutch and tilt shots. Almost give the effect of an illusion. Which once you finish watching the movie really understand. I also really enjoyed how the jump cuts mix with the diegetic sounds give you the sense of unsettling and uncertainty of what happens next. What conventions of the genre that you chose to base your final task on does this movie have? -        A couple convections that this movie has was the settings and lighting which was outside late at night. Inside the house was dim lighting. The costumes as well were pretty casual for a regular day. The acting in this movie creates a feeling of suspense and waiting for something to happen.  What conventions of the genre did the movie have that you liked? -        The conventions that I really liked in this movie was the buildup of suspense that  came from the acting and storyline. Another thing was that for the costumes they didn’t go over the top.   What conventions of the genre that you chose to base your final task on does this movie have? -        Some conventions that the movie had, that we listed for thrillers were the sounds. For example, this movie is big on non-diegetic and diegetic sounds. For diegetic the typing of the computer keys was playing a big part as it seemed that we were watching everything from the computer screen.   What conventions of the  genre did the movie have that you liked? -        I really enjoyed the inserts that they had at the beginning where they had the main character typing on her computer. Also, the sounds that they would play when something was going to happen gave it more of an authentic feeling of what a thriller should be with a modern twist. Especially the non-diegetic sounds.
