 After collecting all the pictures and videos for this project. I opened up Cap Cut and inserted a black screen for my background. I extended the black background for 30 seconds. If I need to extend it more I will extend it later on as I go. I imported the song I am going to use. I cropped the part of the song and lyrics I wanted to include in the video. After that, I was trying to figure out the order of the photos. I decided to start off with pictures of myself as an introduction. I inserted a couple of pictures. I don't have any videos, so I decided to only use pictures for this part. To insert the pictures I had to add them in as an overlay. I added in text to introduce myself. I cut down the duration of each picture to last a couple seconds. I moved on the the next topic which was my interests. I inserted a video of me playing the piano and a couple pictures that I have taken of a nice scenery. I cut down the duration of each media. Added a bit of text that states my interests. I play it back to monitor how it is going. I edit the clip a bit to make sure the duration is fitting to my liking. I save the video so I could come back and pick up from where I left off.

  Schedule  2/14/24: On this day, all the at home filming will take place. This is where the first four scenes will take place. The easy stuff that can be done in one day. 2/17/24 - 2/18/24: On these two days this is where the actual outside will take place. So, we will have to wait for it to become dark because we want that eerie nighttime feeling. The first day is when hopefully all the filming will be done. The scenes will be 5-30. We might be able to finish them all so i gave us an extra day to do the rest.  2/24/24 - 3/2/24: Through these days the plan is to finish all the editing that needs to be done.  Gave  the most time on this because it is a long video that involves a lot of editing.  Location We will be filiming in two main locations, the first one will be my own house and the second one at Veteran's Park. Picking up from where I left off, the only thing that was left to insert was the images and video from the concert I went to recently. I inserted a picture of me and my sisters at the barricade, by using the overlay button that is seen at the bottom tools. I also inserted some pictures from the VIP friends of friends lounge. Those were inserted by using the overlay, as well as a video from one of their performances. I arranged the pictures how I liked them. After that I inserted text on the top left corner and changed the font color to a lilac. I made sure to cut down the duration of each picture and video. I also had to extend the text duration a by clicking on the text and dragging the right side of the duration more to the right. I had some time left over from the black screen, so I made sure to give credit to the artist whose song I used. On the same frame as the credits I inserted a text and image to thank the viewers. Movie Research: Missing

  What conventions of the genre that you chose to base your final task on does this movie have? -        Some conventions that the movie had, that we listed for thrillers were the sounds. For example, this movie is big on non-diegetic and diegetic sounds. For diegetic the typing of the computer keys was playing a big part as it seemed that we were watching everything from the computer screen.   What conventions of the  genre did the movie have that you liked? -        I really enjoyed the inserts that they had at the beginning where they had the main character typing on her computer. Also, the sounds that they would play when something was going to happen gave it more of an authentic feeling of what a thriller should be with a modern twist. Especially the non-diegetic sounds.
