Final Task: Storyboard

Scene 1: Establishing shot of the house.

Scene 2: Camila, one of the main girls is yelling at Sophia the second main character to hurry.

Scene 3: Sophia walks out of the bathroom saying she is done.

Scene 4: The two girls walk out of the house.

Scene 5: They both start walking towards the sidewalk.

Scene 6: Now they are on the actual sidewalk

Scene 7: A bit into their walk Sophia Ask Camila if she wants to stop by the gas station.

Scene 8: Camila shakes her head declining the offer.

Scene 9: As the get father into their walk, Camila gets an eerie feeling out of nowhere 

Scene 10: Sophia starts joking around, at one point saying they might get kidnap. 

Scene 11: Sophia starts to laugh as Camila says in a joking way that she would run away.

Scene 12: As they continue walking, Camila walks ahead while Sophia lingers and looks back. 


Scene 13: Camila sees Sophia lingering behind and ask what is wrong, Sophia shrugs saying nothing.

Scene 14: The camera changes, to show someone in front of them.

Scene 15: Both girls look at each other spoked out. 

Scene 16: They decide to keep walking towards the figure. 

Scene 17: That is one Camila realizes who the mysterious figure is. 

Scene 18: It was their mutual friend Marissa. 


Scene 19: Camila asks Marissa what she is doing here.

Scene 20: Marissa replies saying she was taking a walk around the area. She asks them what they are doing walking here at night.

Scene 21: Camila points out and says that they are meeting some friends up at the park. 

Scene 22: Marissa asks if she can tag along. 

Scene 23: Both girls look at each other nodding. 

Scene 24: Camila speaks out saying that she is fine to join them. 


Scene 25: The three girls cross the street. 

Scene 26: Camila starts to joke around with Marissa saying that they had this creepy feeling someone was following them.

Scene 27: Marissa says that she would never do something like that in a joking manner. 

Scene 28: All three girls laugh at this. 

Scene 29: As both girls walk past, she lingers behind again looking at Camila. 

Scene 30: She once again starts to feel uneasy.

  Schedule  2/14/24: On this day, all the at home filming will take place. This is where the first four scenes will take place. The easy stuff that can be done in one day. 2/17/24 - 2/18/24: On these two days this is where the actual outside will take place. So, we will have to wait for it to become dark because we want that eerie nighttime feeling. The first day is when hopefully all the filming will be done. The scenes will be 5-30. We might be able to finish them all so i gave us an extra day to do the rest.  2/24/24 - 3/2/24: Through these days the plan is to finish all the editing that needs to be done.  Gave  the most time on this because it is a long video that involves a lot of editing.  Location We will be filiming in two main locations, the first one will be my own house and the second one at Veteran's Park. Picking up from where I left off, the only thing that was left to insert was the images and video from the concert I went to recently. I inserted a picture of me and my sisters at the barricade, by using the overlay button that is seen at the bottom tools. I also inserted some pictures from the VIP friends of friends lounge. Those were inserted by using the overlay, as well as a video from one of their performances. I arranged the pictures how I liked them. After that I inserted text on the top left corner and changed the font color to a lilac. I made sure to cut down the duration of each picture and video. I also had to extend the text duration a by clicking on the text and dragging the right side of the duration more to the right. I had some time left over from the black screen, so I made sure to give credit to the artist whose song I used. On the same frame as the credits I inserted a text and image to thank the viewers. Movie Research: Missing

  What conventions of the genre that you chose to base your final task on does this movie have? -        Some conventions that the movie had, that we listed for thrillers were the sounds. For example, this movie is big on non-diegetic and diegetic sounds. For diegetic the typing of the computer keys was playing a big part as it seemed that we were watching everything from the computer screen.   What conventions of the  genre did the movie have that you liked? -        I really enjoyed the inserts that they had at the beginning where they had the main character typing on her computer. Also, the sounds that they would play when something was going to happen gave it more of an authentic feeling of what a thriller should be with a modern twist. Especially the non-diegetic sounds.
